The Weyburn Police Service responded to 68 calls for service in the week of November 9 to 16. Reportedly a slower week for the local police force but still resulted in some notable events.

Throughout the week, several calls were made involving people in mental health distress. In one instance, a person flagged down a patrolling officer in significant distress to ask for help. In each circumstance, police transported the person to the hospital for further care. This week's release issued by the WPS reminds residents that "no one should ever feel shame or worry about being a burden when seeking help. If you or someone you know is struggling, we strongly encourage reaching out—your safety and well-being matter."
