Andhra Chief Secretary likely to get three

Vijayawada (22.11.2025): It is learnt that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has extended tenure of K Vijayanand (IAS: 1992: AP) as the Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh for three months. Vijayanand’s tenure is set to end by this month-end. The is likely to get the required extension from , allowing him to serve in the top bureaucratic position till the end of February 2026. Vijayanand took charge as in December 2024. However, the Chief Minister has firmed up the succession plan.
