BJP Mahila Morcha stages massive protest in Chandigarh, women workers detained; View Pics

Chandigarh, November 22, 2025:Members of the BJP Mahila Morcha staged a major protest against the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Chandigarh today, demanding the implementation of the promised monthly financial assistance for women.

The demonstration, led by Biba Jai Inder Kaur, saw a large number of women workers gathering and raising slogans against Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal for failing to fulfill their promise of providing ₹1,000 per month to every woman.

The protesters marched from the BJP party office towards the Chief Minister’s residence but were stopped by Chandigarh Police, who erected barricades to prevent them from proceedin
