A woman who was seriously injured after falling from a window on a Welsh high street was trying to flee immigration enforcement officers, it has been confirmed. Emergency services were called to High Street, Llandysul, at around 5.30pm on Thursday and the woman was taken to hospital where she remains at this time.
The Home Office has since confirmed a woman fell from a window while trying to flee immigration enforcement officers who were conducting an "illegal working visit" at a takeaway restaurant.
Advanced critical care support was delivered to the woman at the scene by a Welsh Air Ambulance helicopter. She was taken to hospital with serious injuries, a Home Office spokesma
