BEACHWOOD, Ohio -- The Cleveland Jewish News will hold for the 10th year its signature event, the 2025 Cleveland Jewish News 18 Difference Makers reception and awards ceremony.

The event is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Dec. 11 at Landerhaven in Mayfield Heights.

Athe soiree, Holocaust survivor Erika Gold will receive the Sam Miller Lifetime Achievement Award, presented by the Cleveland Jewish News Foundation. Gold, 93, was a member of the 2015 inaugural class of CJN 18 Difference Makers and has spent decades sharing her story with schools and community organizations.

Also, Lee Fisher, president of Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, will receive the Civic Leadership Award, presented by the Krause Family Foundation. Fisher was made dean of the Cleveland State University College of Law in 201
