Srinagar: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Akshay Labroo, on Saturday said that the much-awaited Sanatnagar flyover project has reached its final stage, with one tube successfully completing load testing and the second tube expected to finish by tomorrow.

Speaking to reporters at the site, the DC Srinagar l, said the project holds immense importance for the city’s commuters and residents, who have been awaiting its completion for a long time.

“This is an important project for Srinagar. We have been hearing about it for quite some time and today, seeing one tube complete load testing and the other nearing completion gives us a sense of satisfaction.”

He said by tomorrow evening, the Sanatnagar flyover will be technically complete in all its substantial respects.
