Canada Post and its employees have reached some sort of tentative agreement, although it’s unclear just what it is. The Crown corporation says further talks are required before they reach the point where the tentative agreement can be signed.

All strike/lockout activity has been suspended for now, but it’s unclear as to whether that could change before the end of the holiday season.

Meanwhile, the company has lost 989-million-dollars so far this year, with most of the red ink tied to labour uncertainty during ongoing rotating strikes.
