Two people were detained after police swarmed a city centre apartment block.

West Midlands Police said they responded quickly to reports of vehicle crime in Birmingham.

They rushed to Sheepcote Street at around 6.30am yesterday, Friday, November 22.

Lisa Wise, 42, and Emile George, 56, both from Birmingham, were arrested at the scene.

They have now been charged with two counts of theft from a motor vehicle.
