Bhubaneswar: Sambalpur is set to get a major boost in the fields of animal husbandry and rural development with the approval of a new College of ‘Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry’ at Chipilima.

The decision was welcomed by Union Education Minister and Sambalpur MP Dharmendra Pradhan, who thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, and Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo for supporting the proposal.

Taking to his social media platform X, Pradhan said the new college would play a pivotal role in strengthening the animal husbandry sector and boosting the rural economy.
