NEW PALESTINE – After two weeks of what they dubbed sub-par offensive showings, the top-ranked Class 5A New Palestine Dragons got back on track Friday night at Kelso Stadium.
Scoring touchdowns on their first three possessions – and four of their initial five drives – the Dragons (12-0) overcame both the rainy conditions and No. 3 Bloomington South (11-2) with a dominating 42-0 shutout victory to clinch their second consecutive state finals berth and sixth since 2014.
