OAKMONT, Pa. —

The Allegheny County Fire Marshal is investigating a house fire in Oakmont.

Firefighters say multiple companies worked for about an hour to get the intense flames under control.

The Penn Hills Volunteer Fire Company shared images of the significant damage left behind after crews were able to get the flames knocked down.

Officials believe the fire started in the back of the home. At this point, it is still unclear what started the fire.

It is unclear if anyone was at home at the time.

No injuries have been reported.
