The M11 has been brought to a standstill this morning after a crash caused two lanes to close.

Long queues have been reported between junctions 9 and 8 as drivers are warned of traffic continuing for miles.

Inrix, the traffic data monitoring company, said earlier: "Two lanes closed and queueing traffic due to accident on M11 Southbound from J9 (Saffron Walden) to J8 A120 (Bishops Stortford)." 13:15 Zahra Khaliq

Traffic returns to normal
