MAHONING COUNTY, Ohio - The Newport branch of The Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County (PLYMC) on 3730 Market St in Youngstown will be closing at 10:30 a.m. Saturday November 22.

The library will be closed for the rest of the day, Saturday. PLYMC says the closure is due to Ohio Edison replacing a transformer; the replacement is set to cause significant power loss for most of the day.

The Newport library will reopen on Monday at 9:00 a.m.
