COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Police arrested a man for allegedly kidnapping a woman early Saturday morning.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), officers received a call for service at 12:17 a.m. regarding a domestic disturbance at a home in the 5200 block of Meadowgreen Drive.

Police said the report indicated that a woman’s ex-boyfriend had a handgun and was trying to get into the home.

As officers responded, the reporting party indicated the suspect had left the home, and it was unknown where the woman was. Officers obtained a description of the suspect and later found the suspect vehicle.

Officers said they found the suspect, identified as Victor Hernandez, and the victim inside the vehicle, as well as a handgun.
