The Rocky Mountain College men finished fourth at the NAIA Men's Cross Country Championship at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Florida, on Friday.
The Battlin' Bears, who were seventh in the final edition of the NAIA Men's Cross Country Coaches' Top 25 Rating, finished with 239 points. Second-ranked Indiana Wesleyan won the national title with a score of 117, top-ranked The Master's (California) was second at 128 and Cumberlands (Kentucky) third at 160.
The fourth-place showing by the Battlin' Bears is the best finish in program history per a school press release. Rocky's fourth-place performance is the best by a Frontier Conference men’s program since 2019, when Lewis-Clark State College finished third the RMC press release stated.
