OMAHA, Neb. —

A young man is dead after a shooting in north Omaha. 23-year-old Jordan Phillips was taken to the University of Nebraska Medical Center with CPR in progress, where he later died from his injuries.

The incident happened in the area of North 39th Street and Ellison Circle around 10 p.m. on Friday.

The investigation into the incident is still ongoing. If you have any information, Omaha police are urging the public to contact the Homicide Unit directly at 402-444-5656.
