OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - A man has been arrested in connection to a deadly hit-and-run crash near downtown Omaha that happened last weekend.

Omaha Police say 40-year-old Charles White was arrested in connection to the crash on charges of leaving the scene of a personal injury crash resulting in serious injury or death.

The crash happened in the area of 26th and Douglas streets shortly before 1:15 a.m. on November 16, according to a release from the Omaha Police Department.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 29-year-old man and took him to the hospital. There, he was pronounced dead from critical injuries sustained in the crash.
