The Ostrich celebrated its 10-year anniversary in October.

The speakeasy cocktail bar, located in the basement of the San Marcos Hotel, beneath Crust restaurant in downtown Chandler, opened in 2015.

According to theostrichbar.com, in 2014, proprietor Michael Merendino, decided that a basement with a dirt floor, then accessible only via a ladder, would be revived in the older building as a bar.

Crust is located at 10 N San Marcos Place, on the northwest corner of San Marcos Place and Commonwealth Street, as part of the San Marcos / Crowne Plaza Hotel complex.
