As her condition deteriorated, she was shifted from Konnagar Matri Sadan Hospital to Kolkata Medical College and Hospital on Thursday night. Her MRI report revealed a cerebral haemorrhage.
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, already deeply concerned about the SIR-related panic and recent deaths, spoke with Tapati Biswas’s family over the phone on Friday evening and assured them of the best possible treatment and every necessary support.
