COLUMBIA, Mo. — UND's Jadyn Keeler became the school's first Division I All-American in cross country on Saturday morning.
Keeler finished 26th at the NCAA Championships, clocking a time of 19 minutes, 13.5 seconds in the 6K race.
The last UND All-American in cross country was Heidi Evans, who took 30th at the NCAA Division II Championships in 2007.
Keeler was the third UND runner in Division I history to compete at the national meet, joining Yonca Kutluk (88th, 2023) and Patrick Kipkemboi (209th, 2020).
A Top 40 finish at the NCAA Championships is considered All-American status.
Keeler qualified for the NCAA Championships with a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Midwest Regional.
Behind Keeler's regional finish, the UND women placed eighth to give the Fighting Hawks their best finish
