The Mohali police has arrested three youths involved in multiple incidents of snatching and theft, recovering 16 mobile phones, two motorcycles and one scooter from their possession.

DSP (City-1) Prithvi Singh Chahal said the arrests were made by the Phase-1 police station during a special drive launched on the directions of SSP Harmandeep Singh Hans to curb rising cases of thefts and snatchings in Mohali city.

He said that under the supervision of the Phase-1 SHO, Inspector Sukhbir Singh, a police team set up a checkpoint near ESI Hospital, Industrial Area, Phase-7.
