The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has released body-camera recordings showing the moments after the road-rage shooting that killed 11-year-old Brandon Dominguez, according to newly published footage.

The videos show the child’s father, Ayala Valente, telling an officer at the scene: “My kid is dead.” ABC News reported earlier that the boy was sitting in the back of Valente’s vehicle on the way to school when he was shot.

Police documents say the shooting happened on 14 November on the 215 Southern Beltway near Gibson Road, following a road-rage confrontation between Valente and the suspect, 22-year-old Tyler Johns.
