Reaffirming the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena’s resolve to stay hand-in-hand with Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtea Navnirman Sena (MNS), party MP Sanjay Raut said that they do not need anyone’s orders to stay in an alliance with the latter for the upcoming Mumbai civic body polls.
In a post on X on Saturday, Raut stressed that the state Congress’s decision to bring the MNS on board into the alliance only after a nod from "Delhi" is their individual decision and does not affect the Uddhav Sena’s poll plans.
Raut was referring to the Maharashtra Congress’s statement earlier this month that they "will not take MNS into the alliance without orders from Delhi (party highcommand)".
