There’s finally some good news coming out of Tuscaloosa for an Alabama squad that desperately needs everything to go right over these final two weeks. Kalen DeBoer told CTSN pregame Saturday that both wide receiver Germie Bernard and center Parker Brailsford should be available for next week’s Iron Bowl against Auburn. This is massive considering how thin the margin for error is right now.

The Crimson Tide is sitting both players out against Eastern Illinois as a precautionary move after they got banged up in that heartbreaking 23-21 loss to Oklahoma last weekend. But neither injury appears to be serious enough to keep them out of the biggest rivalry game of the year. Alabama still has a realistic path to Atlanta. They need to beat Auburn and get some help from either Texas beating Texas
