The New York Mets have been fortunate to have Pete Alonso with the team over the last seven seasons.
He's developed into one of the best overall sluggers in franchise history. Alonso is a homegrown star and the team's all-time leader in home runs with 264. But, his future is up in the air in free agency. It would be great to have him back, but MLB.com's Anthony Castrovince shared a prediction that Mets fans won't like and predicted the five-time All-Star will sign with the Cincinnati Reds.
