The 10th Farm to Fork dinner brought together farmers, students and community members from across Perry County to celebrate local agriculture and raise more than $15,700 for the county’s FFA programs.

Organized by the Greenwood FFA Alumni with help from alumni and supporters throughout the county, the dinner filled the red building at the Perry County Fairgrounds on Oct. 4 with more than 320 guests — a record turnout for the event. Guests enjoyed a locally sourced meal served by FFA students from Greenwood, Newport and West Perry chapters. The menu, unchanged in a decade, featured beef donated by Lloyd and Sue Byers, pork and potatoes from Pete and Heather Brummer, corn from the Kretzing and Snyder families, and apple crisp donated by Edgar and Linda Byers.
