A Portland man was arrested Friday after a fatal shooting in a Northeast Portland parking garage, police said.
Portland police allege that Daniel Snegirev, 39, shot two people around 6:45 a.m. Friday in the 4200 block of Northeast Halsey Street, leaving one man dead and another with non-life-threatening injuries.
Snegirev specifically targeted the two victims, the Portland Police Bureau said in a statement Saturday.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Snegirev in a Tigard hotel and handed him over to the Portland Police Bureau. He was booked in the Multnomah County Detention Center on charges of murder, attempted murder, assault and unlawful use of a weapon.
