JACKSON COUNTY, OHIO (WSAZ) - One person is dead after an ATV crash in Ohio.

Troopers from the Jackson Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a reported ATV crash on Antioch Road near the Village of Oak Hill.

Investigators said that two teenage boys were in the ATV when it went over an embankment and hit a tree.

The crash happened before midnight on Friday and was not discovered until early Saturday morning by the boys’ friends.

Neither boy was wearing a helmet, and the crash is currently under investigation.
