Michigan State looks to snap a seven-game losing streak as it heads to Iowa to take on the Hawkeyes.
The 3-7 Spartans were dominated on their home field against Penn State a week ago , and picked up a few more injuries to a slim roster as well. New starting quarterback Alessio Milivojevic is among the players whose status is up in the air. Aidan Chiles was wearing a walking boot on the sidelines after being injured in practice leading up to the Penn State game.
Iowa is 6-4 and has played two quality opponents in Oregon and USC extremely tough the last two games, before losing both by a combined seven points. They are led by their stout defense, a staple under longtime head coach Kirk Ferentz.
The Spartans have to start somewhere in trying to build momentum heading into the offseason,
