Traffic on National Highway 66 in Kasaragod was disrupted after a herd of buffaloes strayed onto the road. Authorities rushed to clear the animals and restore normal traffic flow.
The herd reportedly moved from a nearby service road onto the main highway.
Personnel from the National Highway Safety Department, along with the Fire and Rescue Services, intervened to remove the buffaloes safely from the highway.
Video footage shows the herd being steered by personnel towards one side of NH 66, with attempts made to direct them back through the adjacent service road.
