Martin Kemp's wife has revealed she wasn't keen on the idea of her husband landing the role of James Bond .

The Spandau Ballet legend - who is currently roughing it in the I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here jungle - was once considered for the iconic 007 part, but wife Shirlie has confessed she had reservations about the prospect.

Speaking on ITV's This Morning , she revealed that Martin, now 64, was in his thirties when the opportunity arose, reports the Express .
