AMES, Iowa — Kansas football never really challenged Iowa State in a 38-14 road loss on Saturday, in Big 12 Conference play.

Offense: Success didn’t come often

It took until the opening drive of the third quarter for Kansas to put together a scoring drive, and with that came the start of some much better play in the second half from the Jayhawks offensively.
