On Saturday at Acrisure Stadium, the Clairton Bears, clad in their brand new grey and orange uniforms, did what they do, mauling their prey for their 15th league title.
All Laurel (12-2) could muster was 94 yards of total offense in an 8-6 loss to Clairton in the WPIAL Class 1A title game Saturday at Acrisure Stadium.
“We had unfinished business,” Clairton coach Wayne Wade said. “Last year at this podium, we stood here as runner-up, and this group of seniors since February 5 decided that they were going to win the championship, and they did it.”
