Rainy weather in Cardiff (Image: WalesOnline/ Rob Browne)
After some parts of Wales were drenched in snow, much of Wales faced downpours for much of the weekend. But those conditions are set to be replaced by some very changeable weather over the following days with milder temperatures on their way.
Persistent and at times heavy rain is due to arrive in Wales during the early hours of Sunday. The Met Offic e expects temperatures to drop to around 3C overnight. As the morning progresses the early rain is forecast to clear before a mix of sunshine and showers.
It is set to be a windy day, with the possibility of coastal gales.
The Met Office warns the wind will make it feel colder despite temperatures being near the seasonal average, peaking at about 10C.
