SALT LAKE CITY — The No. 12 Utah Utes football team will play one final game at home as they host the Kansas State Wildcats this afternoon.
Utah is still alive in both the Big 12 title race and the College Football Playoff. They don’t fully control their own destiny, but they must win each game in front of them to stay in contention. Meanwhile, K State has two more chances to pick up one win and become bowl eligible.
The Utes are 5-2 in conference play and 8-2 overall. The Wildcats come in at 5-5 overall and 4-3 in Big 12 play. The 2025 week 13 matchup marks the first time the programs have ever met on the football field.
