Mack Hollins will have a little less spending money for the holidays.

The Patriots receiver was fined $20,278 for unnecessary roughness during a play in the team’s 27-14 win over the New York Jets.

Hollins was docked due to the use of his helmet on an eight-yard reception in the second quarter.

The Patriots were up 14-7 at the time and didn’t score on that series.

Jets cornerbacks Brandon Stephens and Isaiah Oliver were in on the tackle of Hollins, who had four catches for 64 yards in the game.

Hollins, a free agent signed during the offseason, is the team’s fourth leading receiver (30 catches, 387 yards, 2 TDs) behind Stefon Diggs, Kayshon Boutte and Hunter Henry.

The AFC-East leading Patriots, who have a perfect road record, travel to play the Bengals in Cincinnati tomorrow.
