LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
A Louisville man has been sentenced to nearly 16 years in federal prison for drug charges.
On Oct. 30, 35-year-old Johnathan Hankins, of Louisville, was sentenced to 15 years and 10 months in federal prison for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
This sentencing comes after Hankins sold over 600 grams of methamphetamines to informants in Jefferson County.
On March 11, 2024, Hankins sold 444 grams, and on May 22, 2024, he sold 212 grams, a total of 656 grams of methamphetamines.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office said that Hankins is a Career Offender, as he has been having two previous felony conviction of a violent crime since turning 18. In 2010, Hankins was convicted of robbery in the second degree in two different cases.
