An early season meeting between No. 20 Kentucky and No. 21 Louisville turned into the Cats' second consecutive win against the Cardinals with the 72-62 win.

The Cats had a 37-35 lead at halftime and used a big third quarter to pull away from their rival. Kentucky outscored Louisville 20-6 in the third quarter and held Taj Roberts scoreless after the sophomore had a big first half. Roberts went 9 for 11 in the first 20 minutes and finished with a game-high 22 points.

Kentucky had four players finish in double digits. Clara Strack recorded a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds, while Teonni Key had 17 points and eight rebounds. Jordan Obi added 10 points for the Cats, who shot 52.5 percent from the field.
