A Chicago MMA fighter died after being injured in his bout on Friday night.
Isaac Johnson, 31, died at Cicero Stadium in a suburb of Chicago, the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office announced, according to NBC 4 Chicago .
No cause of death has been revealed yet.
An ambulance took an injured fighter, who was identified as Johnson, to Loyola Medical Center on Friday at 8:38 p.m. local time.

There, he was pronounced dead at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, a spokesperson for the town of Cicero confirmed to the outlet.
Johnson was promoted as taking part in a heavyweight Thai Boxing bout at the Matador Fighter Challenge, per the promotion’s website .
