LANCASTER – Homicide detectives are investigating a man’s death in Lancaster, authorities said Saturday.

The death was reported at about 8 a.m. Saturday and occurred in the 44200 block of Sierra Highway, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities did not immediately release and further information about the victim or the manner of death.
