STOCKTON, Calif. — Nearly 90 packages were recovered from an alleged stolen Amazon delivery vehicle in Stockton by the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies located the vehicle after it was taken out of Lodi Police’s jurisdiction. Following a brief chase, the driver stopped near Sutter and Washington Streets. The office said the driver then tried to run away but was quickly detained with help from a K-9 unit.

The suspect was arrested on multiple charges, and 88 packages were recovered, officials said.
