Two of the best in Major League Soccer’s Western Conference get set to determine who advances to the semifinals on Saturday night, as the Vancouver Whitecaps get set to host Los Angeles FC.

The Whitecaps entered the playoffs looking to turn things around after losing to Dallas on the final day of the regular season. Vancouver picked things up against Dallas in its first-round series, winning the best-of-three in two straight to advance in the postseason for the first time since 2017.

Now, the Whitecaps seek their first conference final appearance in franchise history.

While LAFC might not have had the same level of success as they have had in the past, that does not mean it will stop the club from being tough to beat in the postseason.
