TROY — Detroit Cass Tech’s football team can finally start thinking about the Division 1 finals matchup that’s been on everyone else’s mind since the beginning of the season. The Technicians ran their winning streak to 24 games Saturday and earned a chance to defend their Division 1 championship with a 48-22 victory in a semifinal game at Troy Athens High School. Cass Tech will meet Detroit Catholic Central, a 46-6 winner over East Kentwood, at 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30 at Ford Field in a rematch of last year’s title game.
