GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office reports responding to shots fired in a high school parking lot on Friday.

Deputies said they were called to respond to Dorman High School at Cavalier Way at 9:57 p.m.

Officials report shots were fired in a game-day parking lot on campus during the fourth quarter of Dorman’s game against Ridge View High School. The people attending the game were asked to stay in the stadium during the initial investigation for safety.

Multiple shell casings were found on the ground following the incident, but there was only property damage; no one was injured, according to Spartanburg County Sheriff Bill Rhyne.
