Glens Falls, N.Y. — After coming up short the past two seasons, the Westhill girls volleyball team finally got over the hump to win the Class B state championship.

The Wolf Pack swept its way to a 3-0 win over Section V’s Charles G. Finney in the state final on Saturday at Harding Mazzotti Arena in Glens Falls.

It’s Westhill’s third state championship win in program history.

If there were any demons from previous championships, they weren’t visible in the Wolf Pack’s start.

Westhill took firm control of the first set, leading by as many as 16 before going on to win 25-10 to set the tone in the championship round.
