MEDINA, Ohio – The freshly decorated gazebo and luminaries lining the sidewalks on and around the square complimented festive holiday music filling the air during the annual Candlelight Walk.

A juggler entertained kids in a grassy area near the gazebo. A life-sized snow globe contained a holiday character wowing the crowd. Folks from Medina and from farther reaches of the state milled around waiting for the annual parade to begin.

Linda Taylor, one of Main Street Medina’s many volunteers on hand during the event, said the Candlelight Walk is a team effort.

“The boy scouts went around to light all of the luminaries and the candles were all provided by Root Candle,” she said. “And it was the business owners who were out physically decorating the gazebo before the event.”
