Tamannaah Bhatia has built a strong presence in Bollywood after years as a leading star in South Indian cinema , and her admiration for screen legend Sridevi is inevitable. In a recent interaction with news agency IANS, Tamannaah was asked which style icon she would most like to play on screen. Without pausing, she chose Sridevi and said, “It would be Sridevi, ma’am. I think she was super iconic, and she’s someone I have always admired.”

Tamannaah’s wish to portray Sridevi is not new. She had earlier opened up about this dream in a conversation with Mumbai Mirror. Looking back on her childhood, she said, “I have always looked up to Sridevi ji as a young girl. I always thought that if there’s a biopic that I would love to be a part of, I want to play Sridevi ji on celluloid.”
