GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - The holiday season is just getting underway, and to mark the occasion, people from across the area came out on Saturday morning to fill the streets of downtown Green Bay for the 41 st annual Green Bay Holiday Parade.
The sights and sounds included floats, marching bands, and even a visit from Santa himself.
This year’s theme of “Rudolph and Friends” could be seen throughout the event.
Mayor Eric Genrich led the parade countdown as floats started down Jefferson Street and ended at Washington Street.
For many who showed up, the parade is more than just a holiday outing; it’s a yearly tradition.
“I mean, Christmas brings families together, and that’s what this is all about. I’m happy I’ve been running around singing. It’s so much fun, just warms my heart,” says
