Before you can sit your practical driving exam, you need to have passed your theory test. There are two sections to the theory, meaning that you need to get at least 43 right in the multiple-choice part to pass out of 50. You also need to get 44 or more to pass in the hazard perception section, which is marked out of 75.

Once this is done, you can book your second and final test. During the exam, you are marked on the skills you've been learning during your lessons as well as what you learned during your theory test.
