One person has died and four others have sustained serious injuries in a house fire in Queensland. The incident occurred early Sunday morning on Darcy Way in Lawnton, Moreton Bay, prompting a swift response from emergency services around 5:30 a.m.

A spokesperson for the Queensland Police Service confirmed that one individual was pronounced dead at the scene. Four residents were treated for injuries and transported to the hospital.
